Silverman

Around Europe, there are lots of "statue" (don't know how they are really called) men and women, dressed in facy costumes - mostly with body paint from head to toe. They pose, act and do some stuff that is good for photo opp. However, for a picture to be taken with them - it comes with a price, for their talent fee.

Here's a sample of one of these guys.

So sweet!!! Even if I missed the tulips, at least I still had some flower, plus a love sonnet. Ain't he just so adorable? Of course this quality customer service deserves a premium tip!

Holland Tulips

Would have wanted to visit Keukenoff, the famous fields of Tulips. Unfortunate for us, we were one week late. They already cut the flowers in the field. So we just settled for those in the street markets. But just for viewing purposes. Can't bring any of these at home.

Oh, the sight of flowers. Such a lovely view. For some reasons, I find a feeling of happiness, color and delight when I see flowers. How much more if we could have seen the array of tulips in bloom in Keukenoff?... Better luck next time!

In the Streets of Amsertdam

Amsterdam is a very tourist friendly country. Their services for tourists are very convenient that even an novice backpacker would be lost. Their tourism government offers special packages to view their tourist spots. This already comes with free transporatation ride for 24-48 hours or more (depending on the package), free entrances in some of their public museums, and some discounts in private owned museums.

Transportation is very convenient via Tram. I just looove riding trams. Their maps are friendly too, that even if its not written in English, I still can understand the whereabouts.
