Off to Amasterdam

From Paris, we headed up north to Amsterdam. We took the train. We wanted to take the eurail pass, but as per calculations - buying stand alone tickets came out to be cheaper. Tip to first time Euro travelers, check your intineraries. If you can maximize the eurail route - then take the Eurail pass. As in our case, we were not able to maximize the eurail route, mainly because of our destinations and our time.

We arrived Amsterdam around 9:00 PM. Photo here is the train station of Amsterdam. When we arrived Amsterdam we had no tourist guide or whoever to take us around. We did not made any reservations for our hotel. Good thing there are quite a number of hotels and hostels around the vicinity of the trian station area. Not near, but somewhere around. Off with our roller bags we ventured into the streets of Amsterdam - in search for a place to sleep...
